    Dead Amps/Protection

    We troubleshoot to find the cause. Loose screws on power terminals, I see this a lot. This will cause the arcing and a voltage imbalance, hot (battery) wire touching RCA, or reverse polarity (hot wire on ground and ground wire on hot). If the outputs short, it will usually short the power supply. Amps that are in protection can be a headache not only to the customer, but to the technician also. There are a few things that can go wrong; such as over current, thermal, DC offset and bad components.

    Starting May 1, 2025, we will only be taking in TARAMPS AND STETSOM.

    If you have an Audio Control amplifier with me and would like it returned please text or email me. At this time I can not get the parts or hardware from Audio Control to repair the amps. Hopefully in the near future they can get this resolved . Until then I am not taking in Audio Control products.
